A friend/neighbor posted a comment (back in June) asking about the camera that I use in my photography. I use a Cannon Rebel XTI, 35mm digital. However, the lens is the important piece of equipment in these shots. I used a 70-300mm with image stabilizer to get the close ups. Here is the other shot of the daddy long-legs that I got, along with other shots of the clematis vine and flowers:
